View Full Version : Lumpy Fish
Hello! I have found this site seeking a diagnosis for one of my fish. It started with a bulging side, which seems to have gone down now. But it has grown a distinct bulge on the other side, closer to it's face, which now has a whitish lump starting to show. The first bulge was further back by its hips. The fish is acting normally, not rubbing on anything, and eating fine. Any advice? I would appreciate it!!

Welcome to the AC!:22:
Stat a thread in the Beginner section and tell us what size tank, filter, how many fish and what kind.Did you cycle first?
If you have a master test kit you can also list all your perameters.

Welcome to AC.
I have moved your post to the disease forum as this appears to be what needs to be addressed.
I really can't help you tho unless to say that your fish may have some tumors growing or abcesses. A whitish lump could be an abcess that will be breaking or a fungus beginning.
Keeping the water changed regularly can often help with nearly all dish disorders as most as caused from bacterial problems in your water.
