So I needed some prime so id went to drs forster and smith website to order some and low and behold i bought more stuff. so now I have a sponge filter to put on my power head and some filter floss. Now i have a weekend project along with the revamp of my 30gal. My only question is I ordered some flourish and it froze do you think it will be ok?

Think it would be fine. Have you noticed whenever you buy aquarium related stuff, its hard to buy just one thing? I always seem to have a hard time leaving w/o picking up extras.

Yeah I was going to get more but I asked for it for chistmas so i refrained.

why would you order filter floss on line? my wife picked up a 1 pound bag at wal-mart for less than 3 dollars (polyester pillow filling)

I just wanted to make sure it was aquarium safe and i was ordering anyway. It wasnt any cheaper.

hi,
I have the same trouble. Going to a LFS is a hard thing to do, with out spending money. And now that i have a good amount saved up. I will have to be even more carful.

As for the Filter Floss, I get a 1 pound bag for $5.00 NZ from my LFS.


As for you Flourish IMO I see no trouble with it being frozen.
