g'day folks, just discovered this section so decided to see if I could work out how to use it (new to computers)
been busy rigging some shade cloth up over the area I want to set up ponds, almost completed, then I can start building the ponds.
will start off with breeding g/fish, but also want to do some research on our sth west fish, (pygmy perch, nightfish, and several others) as well as breeding local crustaceans (marron, koonac, gilgies,etc)
well, that should be enough to see if I can post this or not.

How are you doing your ponds and how large will they be?

ponds will probably be about 3m long x 1.5m wide x 600mm deep. I have covered an area of 15m long x 4m wide with shade cloth & ope to fill this area with ponds to start with, then move out from there, got 2 acres to play withthumbs2:

Sounds niccceeee :))) If only I could have a pond or two.. (I can't because I have younger siblings and a baby sister, we don't want a pond full of water outside the house when I have small siblings toddling around ;))

I hope it will be nice.:11: the ponds will be built with recycled jarrah timber & lined with plastic sheets, I usually get about 3 to 4 years before they have to be replaced:22:
