Synodontis nigriventris is the upside down catfish. Synodontis is just the family. lots of cats belong to Synodontis

I'm a goldfish too, though I miss the days of being a platy. I was so much younger last week. (I also happen to have 5 in my 10g)

And what the heck is a datnoid! Sounds like something out of an SF movie. I'd rather be a catfish. (I also happen to have one of those!)

Yeah, I remember reading the explanation and still thinking that Datnoid was arb. And 'Datnoid' stage of evolution seems to last forever, you're like on 420 posts and still a Datty @_@

Spot on with the Synodontis guys, I would love to be any one of the species from that family. They're such a cool fish, with elegant feathered whiskers and mysterious nighttime habits.
