I was thinking about putting a dwarf puffer in my small tank and I am wondering if it will eat my cherry shrimp?

Undoubtedly. Shrimp and other crustaceans are DP favorite foods. I know an RCS breeder that uses them for DP food when he runs low on ramshorn snails.

There is a chance that the DP will eat it's fill and then leave the other shrimp alone and only eat them when he gets hungry and maybe that will give them time to repopulate themselves, but I wouldn't chance it.

have you seen Amano or bamboo shrimp? I think those would be fine with a DP
