Kids should be scared of Santa. How many paedophiles do you think there are among shopping centre Santas? Middle aged paedophile men might just go 'hmmm, where can I get access to lots of kids?' and becoming a Santa is a pretty obvious choice.

Not to mention that making your kids falsely believe that there is a santa is misleading and pointless.

You do have to feel for the 'real genuine' santa's though... sitting around allllllllllllll day long having your piccie taken time and time again with roaring, screaming and kicking kids :ssuprised: :ssuprised:

I have to say I love christmass this year my oldest boy is starting to believe and I am really enjoying it, that is what makes christmass magic, the look in his eyes when we went to see him last week, he gave him his soother so we finally got rid of that, wich is a good thing, and then to mention the bribes we get out of Santa with my son, I love it, if he is being bold I only have to mention Santa and his behaviour gets better.

Hereby I oficcially declare I LOVE SANTA:hmm3grin2orange:

Christmas is a big deal in my family. We get the tree up on the 1st day of December and everyday, we count down the remaining days. I think that believing in Santa is a very magical experience, one I think every child should experience..

I STILL believe in Santa and I am a teenager... I have a great imagination and its fun for me too think about the unlikely happenings. My younger siblings all enjoy the magic of Santa and his reindeer! Every year we leave out 8 carrots for the reindeer and cookies, milk & beer for Santa (hehe)

Christmas is a time of giving for my family, we all pitch in and spend lots of time, love and happiness making and buying presents for one another. Last yr, me and my younger brother spent a week making a HUGE pass the parcel and it was a huge hit!

I can understand why kids would be afraid of a big, pudgy man at first though ;))

Mrs Fishpatrick......Your kiddies aren't screaming in terror at Santa. I took mine to see Santa and the Easter Bunny and my grandkids have all sat on Santa's lap. But if the kid is scared to death of him and screaming in terror they should not have to sit there for a picture. Some of those kids are yelling bloody murder with their arms reaching out to get away from him.

A friend of mine dressed as the Easter Bunny and my daughter was terrified. He thought it was so funny how scared she was until I left the party with her.

They see the Easter Bunny in their coloring books as this cute little rabbit then go to see him and here this 6' 4", yelling, half drunk rabbit appears. Talk about shell shock. LOL
