:goldfish: :fish: :goldfish: wondering how long a disucs fish given excellent water parameters can live in captivity? And How do i tell when a fish has out grown his 125 tank???????

Discus generally have a max lifespan of about 10 years. I'd expect any well cared for Discus to live that long.
What kind of fish in in the 125?

If you talking about discus, they wont out grow a 125... But you tell if a fish has at least 2 inchs to turn around and 4 inches above the head... and it has to 5 inchs if the fish in the middle to both sides of the glass...
Sorry if that does not make sense.

:fish: :fish: Now i don't know these guys are getting big. The red melon is! That is good if they do not outgrow a 125! I was thinking i could eventually get one the length of the wall! imagine seeing them swim that. Here is a pic of her....11873

:2: :2: yes you must get the 200. What would be a good size up from a 125 I wonder . That is what i have here and I notice you have one as well. The clowns will like that. Mine are getting bigger so by then maybe a bigger tank!

what is your frontosa like? how big will he get? nIce fish. OH you have to get a few discus they are such interesting fish they really are. They glide through the swords and they watch you. But there is nothing like seeing them all come up for a few bloodworms. I did a water change on them and now they are going to go on the glass and lay eggs. i do not have their breeding tank ready yet. Here is there tank getting filled.11971
