Upgraded lighting for Eclipse 6

I have an eclipse 6g SW aquarium and i would like to upgrade the lighting to something better than the fluorescent bulb that they come with or is there no way to upgrade it without building a custom hood for it

too bad this wasnt 8 months ago, my 10g nanocube cracked, and i chucked it. it had 2x8w T-5 lighting you could have put in yours

anyway, it wouldnt be hard to retro 2 of these if youve got the know how

and how could i modify my setup to take a bulb like that cause im pretty mechanically inclined and think i can get it to work if i had some instructions

hmmmm, im a bit mechanically inclined myself. i think coachfraley modded a nanocube before, so he could probably help you
