AC 70, they're more expensive.

I looked at that and also the Penquin as I heard that one was good, too.

I got one of those with my 110g tank.
It was good to okay i guess. Haven't used it that much but i can say it has plenty of power. It ran my in line diffuser for a while. Don't think i used the reverse flow other then to check it out.
The slides on the side(red/green) get stuff sucked up in them and get a little ugly looking. And the darn thing's suction cups never could stay suctioned. It would always want to slide down my tank.

Just a word of caution to you about using the reverse flow feature on the AC70. When you reverse the flow on them, what would normally be the output becomes the intake, and there is no screen on it. Small fish can easily be sucked into it. Also, overly curious fish could get their noses stuck at which point the water is being pulled through their gills and out through their mouth effectively suffocating the fish.
I am running an AC70 with the quick filter attachment as a supplemental mechanical filter in the 220. Works wonderfully. Dead quiet, I literally have to put my hand into the stream to tell when I need to rinse the filter media. Awesome little deal. I found mine on eBay for about $25 brand new.

The power head I have now does that and drives me nuts. The one you directed me to says:
Rim clamp firmly holds it in place atop the riser stem and an optional suction cup bracket which allows the unit to hang from an aquarium wall instead of the rim.
That part I noticed right away as it can hook over the tank rim.

Thank you everyone. Gez, ILMGB, I had not considered that concept of fish getting sucked into the input but they sure could. It should work for me, tho, as my tank will have my bigger fish in it but this is sure something to think about.
I've been reading, too, that the AC's HOTB can be hooked right up to the lift tube in the UGF and no powerhead is needed at all. However, that would include buying the UGF, two AC HOTB and then the canister as well. OR....one power head, one canister and one powerhead.
I can believe I am even considering going back to an UGF but I do want it for my tank that has all the rocks and wood as it's just too much to keep moving all that stuff.

yeah it does have an optional hooked part that you can use to hang over the rim of a tank. I keep my water lower on my tank so it wasn't ideal. But if you keep yours all the way up then it might be perfect.

Actually, I was hoping to sit it on the lift tubes of an UGF so it would not go anywhere but I do want the powerheads hid so would want one submersible to sit them lower down in the tank behind stuff, I think. I really don't like all that equipment showing.
