I just bought a black mystery snail for my turtle tank and i was wondering if i could put a couple pond snails in there too?

It wont hurt anything but they do breed very fast and uncontrollably so you know.

FYI mystery snails need a ph of 7.0+ and high calcium diet. Sometimes you may need to add calcium to the water.

Pond snails are apparently good for a tank.
They will multiply to the thousands in notime!:18:
Apple snails need both sexes to multiply and the eggs are very easily removed.:22:

By "they" i meant the pond snails, not mysterys. Just realized that may have been confusing.

Unless you overfeed, the pond snail population will stay relatively small. I actually think they are rather cool. The small ones in my tank are cute, but the massive ones I find in my pond are just awesome:) Dunno why they don't grow that big in my tanks...
