pretty female. It is a little harder to tell with the females. It could be a comb tail too which would be a little less stringy (for lack of a better word). LOL

I was thinking Combtail as well, as the extensions are not very long. I wonder what the fry would be like if bred with a Quad Crowntail? Decisions, decisions!!!
Opinions needed!!!...Should I breed my Quad Crowntail male with a dark blue Crowntail female, or choose Michaela, the little girl in the pic?

I have a female that looks like yours, and two that have VERY pronounced extentions, I got them both as small females and their fins were very pronounced even then... I'll try to get pics for you this afternoon! I have no idea if the females with shorter extentions are still considered crowntails or not

I had time to snap a few pics this morning so here they are! lol

First I think is a double ray but not sure, you can't see her colors but you can see her fins. The black one is ths most bizarre looking betta I have. She's jet black with little blue flecks on her sides and red on her fins and really long single extensions. She has a giant bulging belly (no matter what I do) and HUGE pectoral fins. I'm not sure what she did to her fins (I NEVER see other fish bother her) but she's looking a little ragged in this pic, lol

Thanks! Lovely girls! The first looks like a double, and would be a perfect match for Robin...Too bad we live so far apart! I'm thinking Michaela is a Combtail, after looking at your Crowntail....
