Sorry, but I just love these little guys. I've since put a black background behind the aquarium, so that will look better, but these are what I've got thus far. Taking pictures of these guys is a pain, but some turned out okay. Now if they'd just stay away from that dang scratch on the back of the tank.

A few swimming across the back

My biggest male w/ his little bro and a couple females

And a shot of a few of them through the side of the tank.

The pics aren't that great, I know, but maybe I'll get better with time.

Great photos considering how quicck they are.

But why are they so pale? Did you only just add them in?

Yeah, they've only been in a few days. The males look good, but the females are on the dull side. I'm hoping the color up with time.

I think it's the lighting, mine are darker and happier in a very densely planted tank, they're just harder to find, and I am rewarded with 2-3 new one a month:19:

Thanks guys! I wish I could take better pics of them, but they are skittish little buggers and shy too.

Try giving them a treat late when its dark outside and the only light is on is your tank.If you haven't read Sounguru's photo primer yet,That may be an idea as well.I do like your pics!:c3: This has helped me out a fair bit.

Not at all, Northern :) I appreciate the suggestion. I've read sounguru's primer, well the first half at least, and I should go over the second half. I could get some better pics with patience and using his methods for getting the fish used to you. I just haven't taken the time yet.

If you don't mind me asking, where did those who have celestial pearl danios get them from? A well stocked LFS or a local breeder? I'd love to get my hands on some, but have never seen them!

No intention to hijack your thread, sir tristen! If people want to PM me their answers instead of posting they are welcome to.

Hijack away, my fellow hobbyist. I posted the pics for people to see, but any discussion of CPD's is fine on this thread. I got them from a local, but I didn't ask him where he got them. You can find them online if you're willing to pay for the shipping. Aquabid has them under galaxy rasbora (nobody seems to know that the name changed). I had never seen them in real life before I bought them, and I am even more enchanted with the little beauties now:c3:
