I have tried using granules a couple times thinking the catfish would get to it but each time it has only made my water dirty. Do any fish eat this stuff? Seems to me it only settles into the gravel and fish aren't finding it and it just makes the water crummy looking.

I had some leftover goldfish granules and I fed them to my kuhlis when I first got them for a couple days. They loved them. Guess they got tired of just eating the unwanted snails in my quarantine tank. Ended up giving the granules to a friend who was 2 goldfish.

I feed granules to my gouramis. I find they work well because some float and some sink. The gouramis eat the surface ones and I have two loaches that clean up the rest. My bristle nose catfish only eat the driftwood, algae and zucchini. He doesn't bother with any of the other foods I feed.

My tank looks worse today than it has since I set it up. Not terrible but not the crystal clear it usually is. The granules are the only thing I can think of other than possibly the algae pellets for the featherfins I recently got. I did a water change today but wasn't happy about it as I just gave it a good cleaning 5 days ago. I will stop the granules and see what happens. Nothing seems to eat them anyway. Thanks

Its the only thing that my gb rams will eat. Also my festivums, severum, kribensis, gouramis, yoyo loaches all love them too. The rest I got eating flakes though besides the yoyos. Im trying to get my severum to eat pellets but so far he hasnt gone for them. It also hasnt turned my water colors.
my water was a tanish color and I found out it was from my piece of driftwood so Im not worried about it anymore
