Realistically, something small cause a raptor is gonna see you as prey and they are smart. Too smart to cage? Maybe lol

Im sure you could domesticate something huge thats an herbi, like the brachi ^

But you could ride a Triceritops and omg....who would ever mess with you.:19:

I think one of the fascinating things about particularly large dinosaurs is that no matter how large and massive the species may have gotten when fully matured, they all started small (since their eggs weren't gigantic).

Would be interesting to see a puppy-sized brachiosaur or triceratops or a chicken-sized juvie T-rex.

Pterodactyl to fly on
Actually Pterodactylus is too small to fly on (around 30 cm, if i remember correctly...).
What you want is something like a Quetzalcoatlus... One of the largest....

As for me I always loved dinosaurs... But I have a soft spot for one of the first feathered dino... The Archaeopteryx.... Yeah... I want this one!:18:

They look like raptors but really small, always thought having one would be awesome! Didnt know the name til i read this thread though.

That movie has been playing on 2 channels for a week and a half, is that why everyone is on the dino-kick all of the sudden? lol

Dienonychus was my favorite, but he would eat me. So I would go with Protoceratops as well. Smaller version of the Triceratops without the horns getting in the way. :c3:

When I was in high school my best friend and I had Jurassic Park memorized. We watched it so much that I would have weekly dreams of being chased by dinosaurs. Sigh . . . Good times!

Spinos are pretty awesome too! Was anybody else not as impressed with the CGI in JP3? The first two movies were incredible (in my mind) but in the third one it's super easy to distinguish the animitronics from the CGI. Oh well, the first will always be my favorite (actually, the book was better! Anybody read Lost World? Kind of strange...)

Has anyone seen the Discovery Channel's Walking with Dinosaurs? We have it on DVD and have watched it several times. Very, very cool.

Anyone read Dinotopia? Beautiful artwork and great stuff there, too.

I LOVED DINOTOPIA! Thank you reminding me about it I'll have to go find it again. I used to read it every night before I'd goto bed and look at the pictures, and diagrams and such. Wasn't there a second one?
