I took a bit of a drive today to go pick up some fish from a fellow hobbiest, brought them home, and after over an hour of acclimatization here they are!!!

I've wanted some of these ever since I got researching the hobby. Now I have around 14 (they are hard to cound as some of them are just little fry). I got them all for $30, which was a steal as far as I'm concerned. Now I just need to know what to feed the little guys. The guy I got them from said he was feeding them the same pellets as his plecos, and they were happy buggers, breeding and everything. Would flakes work? Or should I get some small pellets?

They look like wonderful fish! You sure can't beat the price!
Great color and spots!
NLS flake food would be good. What do you feed your fish now?

Thanks Northern!
I have nutrafin max flakes right now. I could get some NLS, but isn't NLS a pellet food? These fish are tiny, especially some of the fry.

They are a little hard to find, but I just placed a want ad on a local forum and somebody responded :19:
I don't have a culture for baby brine shrimp. Do stores sell it? I might be able to find liquifry or something similar (all I got close is a crummy petsmart).
Thanks for the info Cassandra!

I crush flakes between my fingers for my fry plus I bought some liquid fry food.Live food is the best if you can.For now find a way to crush up what you have into a fine powder and give them a little.
