I took a chance and finally bought one of these yesterday.Ive done a bit of research and this time of year my tank is perfect for them,we shall see.My new piece of malay wood is to the left.11745

I never got one of those because it always looked like it was dying and the leaves were turning transparent. And i have enough of that going on in my tank already. I'm sure once I take a closer look at it I wouldn't think that anymore.

Hey Smaug just curious - how much did you pay? There's been a Madagascar Lace Plant in the trading post here for ages and they want $50 for it. I think they look great! But not $50 worth of great!

I've seen them for sale at $5-$7.00. I had one but my cichlids tore it up in no time. Even the Leporinus helped by clipping off a leaf at the bottom of the stem. I've given up on plants for now except a couple in a fry tank.

they go for 9 bucks here.They are not a warm water lover so I always shyed away because my summer time tank temps hit almost 90deg.

Wow $9. I would try it for $9 :19: Then again if they don 't like warm water it would be a lost cause at the moment as my tanks will get up to about 31oC when it gets hotter.

I always thought the Madagascar lace was such a pretty looking plant. Looks awesome!! Oh and cool setup from what I can see in the picture :D

Nice looking... I may have to rething my swords now... thats what they look like after BN get after them ;)

Wow your temps get up near 90 deg!!! WOW! I thought my tank was warm at 82 ish.
