How's this sounding?

20 Gallon Tank - 24"l x 15"h x 12"w freshly re-sealed.

Going to be comprised of my two current 7.5Gs.

Fluval 2+ Internal Filter and a double Sponge filter rated for 20G with a powerful air pump. Weekly W/C's 50%. Heating - Would 100watts do the job? or should i go for my 150watts?

Lighting will probably be a couple bulbs any where between 1wpg and 2wpg. Plants - Anacharis, Java Moss, Amazon Sword, Anubias, Java Fern. For decor I have a tonne of small pieces of driftwood, sand substrate and a coconut cave for the cories.

Fish - 7 Pygmy Rasboras, 3 Lampeyes, 4 Bronze Corydoras, 3 Pygmy Gouramis, 1 platy fry and a million and one cherry shrimp. Possibly a couple Apple Snails.

Sound good so far? Anything I missed?

Those pygmy rasbora are awesome, I got a bunch of those. Also called boraras maculatus very active and small fish. The bunch I have don't seem very shy either. I would get more cherry shrimp, if you get at least 5-10 of them, they should be able to build up a nice population of them. Most fish will eat them so they'll need some decent cover like java moss. The pygmy rasbora will leave the adults alone, but the juvies I'm not too sure about. Your other finish may make a meal out of them.

Thanks fins n fur for moving the thread to Aquarium Journals!

and Thanks everyone for the comments so far I love setting up a new tank cant wait to get this one into action!

Thanks Korith for the concern of my shrimp. I think you missed the 'million and one' :hmm3grin2orange: I don't really mind if the fish eat some who knows the live food may even trigger a spawn?! :thumb: All the fish are max 1 inch long except the cories so they cant eat much anyway.

Here is one of the 7.5gs that the shrimp, rasboras and lampeyes are in atm. It's crazy outta control and the amount moss actually in there is crazy. SO you can probably guess I have a steady population of shrimp :19:

No photos of the 20G yet as a Leopard Gecko is still occupying it. My next step is to move her out and into a different tank then get the 20G re-sealed.

EDIT: Ahh seeing that pic made me remember my little ol' Celestial Pearl Danio. She will be going into the 20G too. Little gal so fast and in such an overgrown tank completely slipped my mind!

Finished the stand for the 20G to go on, today and moved my 7.5G Cube out the way and switched its place with the 20G. Fish got a bit stressed but all look good now.

Will be moving the tougher one tomorrow. The Jungle tank. Basically have to switch the inhabitants. Jungle - 20G Gecko and Gecko - Jungle. Ofcourse it won't be a jungle anymore then :)

I relised there are no photos yet so I i took this quick photo of the gecko in the 20G.
