Billy Bob the birthday betta!!!

Went to the pet store today to see I have they had any aquatic frogs for my gfs bday. They were all out, but this fantail betta caught my eye and I knew she would love it. Hes only in a temp bowl while a 3 gallon gets cleaned up. Btw these are my first pics with her new camera she got for her bday, hopefully the pics will only get better.

Thanks! Its supposed to be a vase and a candle holder but we use it as a shot glass holder. No I guess i should strike him from that list... he died a mysterious ick related death. I found out what he was though, its on here: http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/aquariumforum/showthread.php?t=33106

I know that bowl is only temporary but he won't last long without a heater. I can't see the filter I assume there is one it is cycled right?
