Last month I posted about my brasiliensis that was attacked by a smaller synspillum which I purchased I can quite proudly say that she has survived. I hospitalised her straight away and my partner who knows nothing about her kept and eye on her all day. I put her back into the big tank that night with my oscar - she was much much happier. All her scales have grown back, she had a massive patch where she was attacked and they all fell off and it was an open wound about 5-6cm across & down on one side- well she's one little fighter - she is loving life again.
So even though I didn't get any advice on here - I did it all myself, it was great just to be able to post on here and vent. YEEEEHAAAA so never give up on your fish!
