Okay i need some help
We have had a freak ich infestation out of NOWHERE in our tank
We have been treating it with Quick Cure just as the directions say and it seems our fish are getting worse instead of better our platies are now getting fuzzyalong with the ich.......We keep our tank really clean so i dont understand why we are having this problem....
My second problem is that we have been treating it for about 3 days now and out of no where today our male gourami Completely change colors on us.
He became very dark he is a 3spot gourami that is now almost brown looking in the tank and you can see every stripe and detail i even very breifly netted him to make sure it wasnt just the blue water making him look like this and its not he has physicaly change colors.....
Is he sick?
just stressed ?
or is he ready to Mate?

please help our fish

thanks everyone

Here is something to read about how ich works it will help you.

Have you turned the heat up yet?
What are the peramaters right now?
What is your water change schedule like? How much, how often?
How big a tank and what filtration?
How many fish in the tank?
Sorry about all the questions but they are neccesary?

Did you remove the carbon from your filters ?If not you would be diluting the meds whenever you add them.
Your fish are definately stressed! What is new or different about your tank?

Have you added any new fish or plants?
Done anything differently?
It's strange that Ick would just appear out of nowhere...

Thats what was so strange to me
We havent done anything different
nothing new in the tank
i did have the filters out but when my gourami turned colors this morning it worried me so this evening i put the filters back in and since i have done that
and since i posted this his color is returning to closer to normal.....this is so weird we have ick out of no where and then today the "fuzz" started on 1 or 2 and our gourami changing color i thought he may be stressed but the other two female didnt do the same thing
all of this out of no where i check my fish every day literaly and out of no where one fish completely covered in ick overnite i immediatley seperated him...

anyway i put the filters back in about an hour and half ago and since then his color is returning to normal

i think he is not doing well with the treatment

is there maybe another treatment that may be less stressful we just lost another platy as well
would it be wise to do a large water change to get the treatment diluted faster since i think that is whats stressing him or will the major water change be just as stressful.

again thank you for any help and sorry for all the questions im just lost as to why this has occured in our tank
