Well I've been debating about whether to start a salt tank, I was wondering from all you who have one etc, if it would be worth be looking on ebay for something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MARINE-FISH-TANK-8X2X2-FULL-SETUP_W0QQitemZ150310534505QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_P et_Supplies?hash=item150310534505&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

or this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Aquarium-Marine_W0QQitemZ290276223022QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_ Pet_Supplies?hash=item290276223022&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

One of them is on the "lot more expensive" scale as to what's been selling lately. There have been a couple go in the last couple of weeks, all set up, 4ft setups, for $152, $187, $230, 6ft set ups $280, $176, $220, $640, but I thought that is was probably a cheap way to get a set up,
But I also dont know if it works like that, can you pull it all down to transport it and set it back up again without stuff dying etc?

I did think that that one was the better option,

Can you pull a tank down and set it up again without too much hassle?

definitely the first one

moving a reef isnt terribly hard, just make sure you have 10-20 large rubbermaid contrainers.

If you are really committed, you could probably move it and set it up in one day, depending on how far you live from the guy and how prepared you are before. However, it can get very frustrating at times, trust me......

Remember, prepare for the unexpected and be thankful that it doesn't happen

I will, thanks for the advice.

I'm not going to rush into this though, still going to do lots and lots of research, the setups seem to be on ebay all the time, so will ask for some more advice on which one to get when I've done my research. I was more asking about the possibilities of pulling down and re-setting up again, which looks like it will be possible with lots of planning, so research here I come!

Thank You!
