I measured my living room last night and see I can have 3 -55 gallon tanks sitting side by side.

This means moving my 30 gallon for the 4th time and also moving the 55 gallon that I just moved 2 weeks ago a matter of a couple more inches.

Folks..........plan ahead!

Make your family disappear! Listen to you know. You are living in their house. Maybe you and the girlfriend need your own digs and can have all the tanks you want. :) Make her pay the rent!!

this is probably the best advice anyone's ever given on here. especially the part of "making her pay the rent" that's sound advice.lol

oooh, how exciting, hobbs! I just got a 75 gallon tank. It was only $70 off of craigslist. I need all the other stuff including stand, filter, hood, etc., but it's a start. Now I'll finally be able to have my oscar pair I've always wanted!

So do you want to do african cichlids? american cichlids? big cichlids? small cichlids?

I'm dreading the day when my girlfriend and I have a house. ATM we have a 10g and a 5g quarantine.

My girlfriend wants to upgrade our 10g with platies to a 25 and put some puffers in the 10g.

I'd like a 200gal for a Northern Pike tank (or smallmouth bass).

There's been talk of a 2000L tank (about 530 gallons) for a Boreal Community Tank. Pumpkinseed sunfish, various shiners and minnows and few bottom feeders like darters and sculpins.

You haven't seen the last of us on the AC.

OH MY GOSH. I am sooo excited for you and what a great price you paid for it. Big Al's has the most reasonably priced stands around. About $89 for one but shipping is $40. Even at that, $130 for a stand isn't bad. Probably cheaper at the pet store, tho.

I think I want Labs since my tank won't be all that large.

You guys are too funny! We frequently tell the kids that when THEY are gone (no later than 18!) the one bedroom wall is going to be replaced with the front of a LARGE wall tank, with all supplies being in the bedroom so that it is facing our living room. THAT will be my saltwater tank.

That will be a cool setup kimmers. Will it be your first SW tank?
