I would say that would be too small for all of them since osars make such as mess and balas need as school you would need something much bigger.

ok just the oscar needlefish and barbs

I dont see why that wouldnt work. as long as you arent thinking alot of barbs Since they get up to 8in.

thats a no-go, for a proper school of tinfoils and balas, youre going to need a tank triple that size

personally I would go with silverdollars they are real fun to watch.

I don't agree that a 75 would be okay for an oscar and a school of tinfoils. Just too small.

cer

ok no tinfoils but put in silver dollars

You could prolly still do the needle fish.Im guessing that is the same as a twigcat.

i reallly dont know what it is it looks like a saltwater fish and it is an active fish that stays near the surface

Id say a no on the needle fish I did some research on them and it is probably a needle nose gar and they get up to16 in so it could barely turn around in a 75 plus they are preditors and would prolly eat everything but the oscar.

ok what size tank could they be in

No they are not "gars"
IMO they should not be sold in stores. They should be in a tank at least 120 in a room where no one goes in, only to feeds them. They are knowen for getting scared by turning on the light and breaking there beak and have to be put down. I would not put them in with any other fish. Very cool fish thought and i wanted one but then did my research and found out all that stuff.

sorry for the double post but they should never be kept with the also skittish silver dollars, it would be like a ticking time bomb

Wild Turkey

good catch red, shouldnt have skimmed that one lol.
They need to have the glass surrounded by plants and a bunch of other pita stuff like red said. they are a real handful

cer

what fish kinda is big and just catches your eye that could fit in a 75 gallon

Red

Yeah sorry i was being a bit lazy and dont read...
He seems not to be happy with just the oscar (which i love oscars by them selves) and you could throw some giant danios in there..

Oscars do very well in a 75.They get large fast,in 1 year they will grow at least 8" in that tank.

mac

IMO I would get the largest Bristle Nose you can buy, say 3+ inches.

The next thing you will want to do for the BN is to make him some caves to hide in from time to time.
