Whenever I try to take pics in my tank, I get this one gourami in all my shots! He is always coming right up to the front of the tank and looking at me. I finally got a pic. Please ignore the algae (it's very small, you can see it when you look at the tank) I don't clean the glass.

I put spaces, so the pic would be a surprise.

I now have 6 sparkling gouramis and I keep getting picture of the same one over and over! The others come up to the glass, but when the camera comes out, they hide.

Maybe if you stuck the camera on a tripod and left it in front of the tank for a few days, they'd all get used to it and stop being so frightened of it. Cool shot by the way...

I think they'll get used to it, I feed them before I take their pics. I think some of them are making the association between the camera and the food. The sparkling gouramis are new and it will take them time to get it.

You are really becoming a photo guru abbeysmom! That is such a cute shot of the sparkling.....they really are curious little buggers aren't they? But as cute as the new avatar pic is, I LOVED the one with the heart and the 2 of them.

I use 2. For quick things, like resizing and stuff, I use IPhoto Express (by Ulead). For photo editing I use Adobe Photo Shop.

I also regularly use adobe photoshop, but have been so busy that I haven't gotten past the basics! I bought it knowing I usually spend many hours in the winter playing with the computer and pics, but too many other things have gotten in the way.

for those of you interested... there is a better program by Adobe that they invited Professional photographers to try and give feedback on so they can release it... it is currently available for free and it is a fantastic program. It is called Adobe Lightroom Beta .. go to the Adobe site and it is currently a free download, great for editing pictures, very intuitive as apposed to Photoshop which is more geared toward graphic designers. Let me know if you cannot find it. I'll find it and post the link.

Darn. It's not free anymore. It's $199.

Oh, and Abbey's_Mom, that's still my favorite picture (the curious close up of the gourami).
