I joined the other day but am just now getting around to posting.
I got into the fish hobby when I was 14 (I didn't even want fish but my brothers friend gave me a Cherry Barb he'd been keeping in a salt and pepper shaker...) and within months had over 400 gallons that I took care of by myself. I've had fresh, brackish and saltwater aquariums. I've had like 20+ species of fish and at one point had a super awesome Condylactis Anemone who I bought when it was dull and dying in the pet store and ended up becoming beautiful once it settled into my tank. :) (Though after like 7 months he got deafed by the filter. :ssad:) My fish were sadly killed off by my brother though after 2 years of building up my tanks. (Our garage was my fish room and he left the door cracked during the winter. :/ Heaters couldn't save them...) After selling off my tanks (And after my brother moved out. Lol!) I decided I wanted more fish and have started back with Gourami's. I had two Dwarfs named Bill and Tom but Bill started acting funny and ended up dying a few days later so now it's just Tom. I'm hoping to set up a new 120 gallon aquarium as soon as I can save up enough money to buy everything. :19: I'm looking foward to joining the fish community once more and being around folk who are just as addicted as me. :thumb:
