i am buildin a 1700 gallon pond and i have to build the filter
these are the designs that i am thinking about going with for my sump. tell me what you think and if you have any critiques and anything you would change let me know.

water flows into the first drawer which contains some kind of media for mechanical filtration(probably pillow fluff) . then in the second drawer. i dont know if the second drawer should be more mechanical filtration or if i should go straight to the scrubbies. the water then falls into the third drawer which can be removed oor can be filled with more medi depending on what you people think.then the water falls into the reservoir and gets sent back to pond via the pump.

also what size pump would i need in terms of gph? im thinking about 1500gph
