id catfish

hi, wanted to know if anyone can help id a catfish for me, i already have one
true upside down catfish, i was sold this one as a juvenile no way is it a true
upside down. it is now about 2 inches in size the front part is spotted while the rear part is kind of striped but circular it is a browny purpley sort of colour
and my true upside down chases it out of the shipwreck now and again, i have tried several sites but cannot find iy, help

Sounds like a Synodontis eupterus in between the juvenile and adult coloration. As juveniles they have a striped pattern, but as they grow it shifts to a spotted pattern. Sounds like exactly what you have.
