Dithers

I want to get some dither fish for my Oscar tank. I would like a small school but I don't want to over crowd it so I need to go with something smaller in size. One of my O's is 4 inches and the other is 3 inches so I don't need to worry about them eating much just yet. I was thinking of throwing a couple of tiger barbs in there to liven things up and make my Oscars a little more active but I have made enough mistakes in this hobby to have learned that I need to consult with all of you before I do anything. Would I be allright doing that? If not then what would you guys suggest? My O's spend alot of time hiding and I would like to draw them out as well as take their focus off each other.

I personally think this type of dither is cruel. Yeah, maybe they will live for a long time in there, but I would not want to be added to an area just to give some big bully something to chase only because I am a little faster than the next guy. The goal should always be to get our fish to thrive, all of them, and this type of dither does not do that.

It's a 75 gallon tank with one 4 inch albino in it and a 3 inch red in holding. It has an HOB bio wheele filter rated for up to 100 gallon tanks. I am also going to add a canister filter I just haven't decided which one yet. I also have a 20 gallon tank which the tiger barbs would be moved to should the oscars ever start bothering them. The 20 gallon is home to 3 dwarf guoramis and a african dwarf frog so there is still plenty of room there. I know the 75 gallon tank will be a bit cramped for two full grown oscars but the trank will be upgraded when the time comes(aka when I can convince my wife to let me).

IMO dont add anything until you get a larger tank, if you get a large tank for the 2 oscars like a 180g+, you could get 6 silver dollars as dithers

i have silver doller in my tank and the oscars dont really know there their, never have
