Took this the other day... Seemed to be forever until one of them would hold still for a fraction of a second! It's not 100% clear, but it's pretty close >_<

Nice looking fish. How long have you had them?

I can also sympathise ... we have ornate tetras and it was really hard to get decent pictures of them. Always buzzing around the tank and skooting everywhere. Gorgeous fish though. If you want a look, they're in my gallery (see my sig).

Thanks! I think I've had them for 3-4 weeks now, maybe longer. Oh, your ornate tetras are pretty! I don't think I've ever seen them before :O

Only 3-4 week? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Keep feeding them good quality food and as long as they're in good health, the coloration should continue to develop.

Actually these are dyed fish I bought without realising it.My son has fallen for these fish and I am now stuck with them.
I had it out with my lfs and she has stopped stocking them.
The problem is most lfs get them without ordering them.
