Mom and brother got a baby whale

Since my brothers rusty cichlid had died, and my dog ate 43$ worth of fish food :c11: My mom and brother went to the pet store, where they came home with a baby whale. I have to say he does look cool, however, I think that a 20 gallon is to small for him is this ok? The best thing however is that ive noticed the shark is a lot less aggressive with him around. I dunno, any input is appreciated.

Scroll down to the Morymids in my oddball post ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.]) for information on keeping that fish. The species name of your fish is Petrocephalus bovei. I deeply encourage you to do in-depth research on your fish as many, many die in tanks from unsuitable aquarium conditions. The Morymids are soft-water fishes, meaning they need a pH under 7.0 and a general hardness under 5.

For a whale they don't get to big!

It's a very weak field, northernguy. You couldn't even feel it. The vast majority of Morymids live in turbid (muddy) waters where the field helps the fish navigate and find food. And Petrocephalus bovei tops out well under six inches.

Oh wow!!! Thats pretty amazing! My Ph is around 7.0 so that should be no problem. He already dug himself a whole under the drift wood lol, hes a busy little thing. Awesome looking to.

Lol, I unfortunatly do not have a camera, and I would rather he get used to his surroundings first, however, I will try and borrow someones in a week or two
