No, they separated about 30 min after that shot, i suspect they were going at it for a while before i noticed. That is in the thick section of my tank where the otos and snails like to hang. It's on the end of the tank i can't see from a normal sitting position. My wife actually noticed them as she came down the stairs: "huh, that's wierd...The snails are doin something i've never seen before.." I just filled the tank an hour or so before, so i'm hoping she can find a egg spot without dropping the water level

My water level is topped right up,she just climbs up my canopy.

yup, she ain't goin nowhere. This weekend i was going to move all my snails to my invert tank(i've got it nice and algae-y) and add a couple more. I'd prefer she lay them in the invert tank, but i can move them afterwards. I just hope it wasn't a "casual" liaison and i actually get eggs out of it.
