This guy appeared in my tank recently. What is it? Good or bad?

Limpet snail. Good algae eaters, unfortunately they are clumsy. The shape of that shell makes them act like a razor for zoanthids sometimes. FWIW, my sump is full of them.

I have had things knocked over lately, but there are also a bunch of hermits in there too (including scarlet legged for the turf algae) so hard to see who is to blame. I figured it was safe. Thanks.

Well, relatively safe. Someone here recently had an incident where they had a Limpet remove a bunch of polyps from their rock. The shell simply cut them off like it was shaving the rock.
