I was wondering what water pH would be suitable for marine fish such as the Spotted unicornfish?

A pH from 8.2-8.4 is usually desirable, but I don't really know much about the Spotted unicornfish, so it may have different requirements.

How big is your tank? If you set your tank up properly then you don't need to worry about the pH, it will be buffered to the proper pH.

However, marines generally need a pH of 8.0-8.2, but can tolerate 7.8-8.6

My tank has been constantly at pH8.6 since i started it about october last year
