I can belive it my 2 apple snails have totaly gone carzy over a sprout
you car,nt get kids to eat them but i could,nt belive my eyes when they locked on to this sprout they are floating round the tank feed off it it,s great fun watching them my grankids were glued to tank all afternoon

I also enjoy watching apples eat, i have quite a few in a 20g right now and when i feed its looks like a snail bouquet

I think I watch my snails more than most of the fish.Snails will eat almost any veggy you drop in there.

I have tryed cuecumber not like that, then peas & greenbeans, now was starting to worry that they went eating, but like you said northenguy i kept trying diffrent veggie,s & bingo found 1 they like so am now a happy woman :19: SUE

Mine will eat most veggies, i boil the cucumbers cuz they tend to get messy fast if i dont..i also poke out the middle with the seeds.

Other than that i feed algae wafers quite often and sometimes i will give sinking pellets just to mix it up.

Anything with calcium is good, lettuce is good but only romaine lettuce, the light green kind (iceberg?) only gives like 10% as much nutrients. If you dont supply enough calcium eventually you will start to see signs of shell damage
