I'm considering a group of Tiger barbs as tankmates for my Kribs. Any ideas if this will work, as I want to breed my Kribs...

If by work, you mean will the tigers eat the fry, then yes it will work great. As for tigers getting along with the kribs,IME tigers keep there aggresions to themselves if you have a nice group of them [6 or more].

I would like to keep the fry. I take it that will not be possible with Tigers???

They are awesome little predators of small wiggly things. And fast, tigers, they are properly named.

Ok...thr Kribs are in a 29 gal tank. Most of the Red Eye Tetras that were there are gone, and I'd like to add something...any suggestions for a fish that can stand the aggression of breeding Kribs, and not bother fry?

Im partial to serpae tetra, they are a neat color [mine are blood red] they are fast enough to not get eaten, they are not aggressive [overly].You could get at least 6 but if you are lightly stocked other then the kribs 10 would not be too many.

Hi,
IMO I would just keep the kribs by them selves if oyu want to breed them.

But that is IMO.
But as for the Barbs I would say no. But with the Tetras, Serpae Tetras would be fine. Just IMo again i would, because to my Knowledge the Kribes get territorial when breeding so you could have some problems.

I am currently using a school of 7 Zebra Danios. Every thing is fine. My Kribs are never far enough from their fry to worry about predation.
