ive been looking at aquariums and have thought about building my own
is it safe to build a 150gal or are there high chances it wont hold water saying that i use aquarium sealer and follow proffesonal plans and get my glass cut by a shop. also would acrylic be better since its lighter but more expensive or should i stick with glass.
what are the pros and cons of glass vs acrylic the more information all the better.

Glass would be better in my opinion but it is heavier and a 150 gal tank will be very heavy...you say you have professional plans? if that is so and you have experience with making tanks then I say go for it. Problem is, one seal lets go after you make the tank and you're stuck with a swimming pool in your house. I would invest in one produced by a known manufacturer...just my opinion though.....
