I have a male patternless and a female high yellow. Both are about 8 years old (got them as babies)

I used to also have two female normal siblings, but lost them both to old age last year.

I also have a ball python

I sure do Ryuu!

Three of them infact. I have a regular type, a high yellow and one that looks similar to a chocolate albino. One of them was made into an AC gift! :D

They can live from 10-20 years under proper care.

I have 3. No more unless they are given to me. I wouldn't waist my money on one tell you the truth. They are really good for beginners but once you get on to the more advance herps these guys get pretty lame in my opinion. But I love my little guys with all my hear and I still think there cute but just meal worms and the occasional mouse makes them lame. Plus they max out at 7 or 8 inches But for some reason my male is 10 inches :S.

This is one species that can go from beginner to the most advanced hobbyist. Like many fish (goldfish, guppies, bettas, etc.) they are good for beginners but someone more advanced can get in to the more advanced varieties. Breeding these guys is pretty simple and it is amazing what certain combinations will produce, even completely new breeds. You have to go with what interests you, but I think this is a species that even some of the most advanced keepers enjoy, they just get in to the fancier varieties.

I just got one today. Someone local was giving him away. He has pre anal pores, so I'm assuming he's a male. I might try to get a couple females and breed them for fun.
