New Feature: Photo albums

I have finally been able to get one of the promised upgrades online. A photo album. You'll find it below the video forum or by visiting http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fishpictures

I hope you'll like it and hope to see you all post a lot of your fantastic pictures. The Photo album looks very empty right now and really need you lovin'. There will be awards for posting pictures.

Please let me know of any bugs you encounter.

I have tried to upload pictures but when I click "upload photos" I get a message that I'm not allowed access. Possibly I'm not doing it correctly? We will not be submitting photos in the Photo Gallery in the left hand column then but will do it here at this area?

I couldn't find the Upload button at all.....

It's in blue at the top of the page alongside Administrator, etc. Think it must only be for his use.

Oh, then how do we add pics.....? should we send them to someone or start a thread?

Ok Fixed it. That bug atleast. let me know if you encounter more problems.

The photoalbum is for anything aquarium related, and there is a category for other pets and animals as well. If anyone would like to see a category they feel are missing they're free to contact me about it.

Still having a problem tho. Getting this message:

I got the same message as you hobbs. I thought my pic was too big so I was gonna try after I resized but I see your message so I wont try again...for now...lol

Hmmm I am sorry about all the bugs. My poor internet makes it impossible for me to test it as needed. I will look into it more and post here whenI believe it to be resolved.

Ok. It is working now. Atleast for me.

Sorry about the little "dark" test picture. it was the only small fish picture I had on this computer to test with.

How would you get to the ablumn normally (without the link)? Are you going to link it to the "Photo Gallery" link on the side menu?

I put 3 up. Not the greatest pictures but I guess having some is better than none

Yes. I am going to but the in the side menu. But it might take a few days before it's there. I am doing a number of updates that have been planned for a long time but I have been unable to do.

I just updated the buy and sell section as an example.

I have added my pictures! I like the photo center.

1. You can add without resizing (which I still do) but not necessary. Will post faster if you do.
2. You post directly from your computer and need not put them on a site
3. All pictures are thumbnails and uniform in size

As for voting on pictures from this site, that remains to be seen but so far, I find it pretty handy.
