Ok I finally was able to get him to come out and show off a little in front of the camera! I also got the two females he has with him along with a female macmasteri. Don't mind the dirty tank please. I am losing a battle with brown algae.

Beauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful fishies... I could look at them all day long....

Only thing is the first photo is not a Macmasteri female ???

Thanks for the compliments! I am confused with the question though. It's late so that might be why I am confused. If you are asking if it is a female macmasteri then yeah that is what I believe her to be. The LFS said they were apisto macmasteri when I bought them. Unfortunately only this one survived over night out of the 3 I purchased.

From what I can see it is a Apistogramma trifasciata female :19:

If you can get some side shots I can let you know for sure....

Macmasteri females have squares going along on their side.

I will attempt to get more shots of her. She doesn't come out much. Loves hiding in the java moss and guppy grass!
