I was taking pics of my tank today and thought I would share this one.
I was actually trying to get pics of my Loaches peeking out from their rock hiding places.

When I got this fish it had had it fins "trimmed" or something. The tip of the dorsal fin was squared off and so was the tail.
A month or two of god water quaity and a good varied diet has it looking like mylar in the right light.
To bad I cant take a decent picture. It took about 30 trys to get that shot. For some reason the sport setting makes a dark picture.

I have taken over two hundred pictures only to get one that looks decent, so don't feel so bad LOL. Can you imagine doing this with film? Nice job on getting the fish back to great health.

Sharing my pictures is the best way I have found to share my passion for taking care of fish.
In my RL most people are not interested in my fish. If I talk about my fish, tanks, and plants for more than a minute or two, people glaze over. As a matter of fact, when I talk about my lights and CO2 everyone thinks I'm growing pot :14:
My wafe tolerates my hobbie, it keeps me busy and at home. One of my best friends is into fish and almost everything else I'm into) and even he thinks I'm a nerd about all this. I have to know about every fish in detail. I have moved that into my underwater garden as well, because it benifits my fish.
So, thank you for being here for me to share with ;)

I've been working on technique for aquarium pics.
I'm liking macro settings over sport. You just have to have more volume of pics. My camera is SUPER slow in macro.
I've taken about 100 pics tonight and like about 1 in 10.
I even entered one in the POTM.
