I got some good photos of my Bronze Cories, they are kept on a sand substrate and have very healthy barbels. These photos could help someone questioning if their Corydoras' barbels are in good condition and have not been eroded.

The pictures are from the front and side. The front picture shows all three sets on barbels.

Thanks all. My cories are the same you have to be slow and no sudden movements. Also making them feel safe will help; Keep cories in groups as big as possible without overstocking, Give them a cave they can fit into and not be seen into and planted tanks help too.

Oh, it's not that I scare them. They're just always swimming around together! Watching them play 'follow the leader' is great.

I know the last one has a cory with a messed up dorsal fin... I just got them from a LFS the other day, and the guy had to get them from three different tanks, and there weren't even any labels for Pandas! I think I got the remaining six in the city!

I loved my cories when I had my tank set up. Will tell the story in another thread some other time.
