I had a snail culture going for several months, (as food for my crayfish) but when i moved to a new apartment, i mixed them in with the crayfish tanks, and they seem to be established in there, and the crayfish have been snacking on them

there's a small fish place near my new apartment, and i went and got some more pest snails to start the separate culture back up again

this time i got some of the kind with the pointy shells along with the round ones, they are pretty cool

pest snails are so easy to culture... just ask you local pet store if you can have some of their pest snails, pop them into a tank, and a couple months later you have a bunch of them

(i'm sure a lot of you have experience with culturing these unintentionally) :14:

you can see one of the cool pointy ones on the side

The pointy ones are MTS great in planted tanks I personally have over 1500 of them and half that in pond/tadpole snails.... Ramshorns are just getting going so only 100 or so of those. All free from the local pet smart.
