Thank you for the nice welcome! My question is how large does my sole surviving baby comet need to be so it can be returned with its parents. He's an inch and a half and has begun pacing the full depth and height divider in my standard 50 gal aquarium. He was discovered two weeks ago when I was winterizing my Wi. pond. The four adult comets are also put in the aquarium at the same time. They were bought this spring from the 1st shippment in of pond fish at three inches, and are now eight inches. The tank has natural plants in it for cover. Thank you for any input as this is all a first for my wife and I.
