Hello, this is my first time with Aquarium Forum so I just wanted to say Hi. I'm started reading the postings here because I'm having a really hard time cycling a 50 gallon tank. it's been running for two and a half months now and the ammonia levels are still ridiculous. In other words I'll be looking for a lot of advise.

Are you doing a fishless cycle?
If so, how much ammonia are you adding daily?
If not, what fish are in there?

Welcome aboard Lloyd:22:

Do you have a friend with an aquarium? Gunk from a filter or from siphoning gravel will speed up a cycle.

Hi, You've joined the right forum. Cycling can be a pain. It seems that all you do is wait, wait and then wait some more. Good luck with your setup.
