I am going to setup this crested gecko vivarium and It's going to have live plants in the soil and I have a few ideas for the plants Like Pothos and Maybe a Bromeliad or Two But i am looking for a tall plant that the geckos can crawl on the branches and Such. So i am open to ideas.
BTW The tank i am getting for the cresties is 18W X 30L X 31H.

Lucky bamboo would work really well too. Try and provide something for the pothos to grow on, the pothos along won't support them and it will just get smashed. Something like dead bamboo would work really well. Remember the temps have to be kept low, so some plants won't do as well.
How many cresteds?

Lucky bamboo is not really what i was thinking(pumpkin) I was thinking of something with lots of branches and I will probably have ether a pair or Keep two females in their and Every once in a while add a male when i want eggs and Only if the females are ready.

I don't know of any plants that in that size tank would branch with branches thick enough to support cresteds. I think most people use pieces of wood, corkbark, dead bamboo, etc. to give them something to hangout on and then just have stuff like pothos grow on it.

OK then any ideas for just good looking plants?
Oh and I will probably have a big tree branch in the tank for the cresties to climb on.

Whatever you like that is safe and available to you. Just check out the local places selling plants and see what you like.
I like pothos, it is nice and tough. The different varieties (lots of white) make it more interesting.

A person on other forum told me how to grow moss So that would be cool looking.

I use java moss in my viquarium, I don't know if your cresty tank will be humid enough though. I tried some from the yard, it is doing okay. I have heard that crystalwort can grow terrestrially if in a humid enough tank.

How humid is it in your viquarium?
Also i may try to grow java fern in the viv and Maybe some other water plants that can live in the air.

I like the aluminum plant.I had 1 in my tank and was told it would grow great in there and it did.Until one day all the leaves began to yellow.I took it out and put in a jar with glass beads and tank water and came right back. The roots are meant to be submerged and the rest above the waterline. Its a beautiful plant though.
