Fins grow back?

I have two blue/three spotted gouramis and a simple question. With a bad accident with a puffer a recently removed (bad decision), one of my gouramis has a few nips on its fins... And I'm just wondering if the fins will eventually grow back.

YYes they will. You can buy melafix, which has a natural tea extract, that smells good, and helps stimulate healthy fin growth. Its also a good supplement to keep diseases away!

Exactly, well put. The melafix often grows back fins better and more colorful then they originaly were, and it works wonders on fin rot as well.

Fully grown back in about a month. Wont tell it was ever ripped.

When i got my pleco he was real torn up and now he is perfect. About 2-3 weeks later.

Glad to see the puffs are not with the gourami any longer, your gourami will thank you for it. Puffs are wonderful fish as pets, but are not for the community setting.
Some stresscoat will also help those nipped fins, you can squirt it directly onto the fish if they will swim close enough.

I've just got some Melafix because my male cichlid has started headbutting his house and his girlfriend..He seems quite happy otherwise! I just noticed he had a little mark on his head and thought it was best to nip it in the bud. I understand this headbutting is quite common with cichlids?
