Tanks look nice and those neon's are looking pretty happy.

I would stick to a small pleco. I don't think you want a 13 inch fish in you tank.

Thanks guys...its my 1st tank but doing plenty of research and asking questions has helped me a lot in getting it to be exactly what i want....a great talking point and focal point in my apartment!

which pleco would you suggest?
i like both the nuggett and te candy striped and they stay pretty small...is there any difference in temprement etc?

from what I've read about both kinds, they're both peaceful, but the candy stripe is a little smaller and hardier. (Only from what I've read - I've never kept either one) Personally, I think they're both wonderful, and as long as you provide them some driftwood, stay on top of your water changes, and supplement their diet, then either one would be beautiful in there.

Good luck! :)

This is the site where I looked. There's tons of plecos that come in all different sizes and colors. All the ones here are peaceful.

Good site Glasstapper, but the sizes seem off to me.

Not to say your site was wrong, but try this site.

I would go for the candy stripe if you can find one.

The Platies and Swords will get them when they molt. If you have enough hiding places, you might get a few that will make it, they are very fast.

Your tank looks very nice. I see your neon's are all over the place. Mine seem to remain near the bottom of the tank and it may be due to the other fish being a bit too active for them.

My cardinal tetras hang out in much the same area but the only top water fish I currently have are hatchets
