Mollies picking on my mystery snail

Could mystery snails live in ponds? I have him in a separate tank for now but i'll put him in my pond if they could survive out there

Many of them live in tropical areas in the wild, so they do better in dry than cold conditions, i would think. Their min temp is somewhere in the high 60's IIRC. So if you water gets below 70 i don't think they would make it, depending on what species the snail is, of course
