Hi all. I have been seeing these fish/things all over google/youtube etc. when I look up things about fish. What exactly are they? They all look like some kind of mutations or hybrids. Any help???

I see them with names like that all the time but is there any place on the net that tells the scientific names? I'd like to learn more about these things, where they come from, etc etc.

And I don't think they are that freaky, but they are weird looking!

They come from the bottom of the ocean, they look like the because they needed to adapt to the pressure thats put onto them from the water

You can find most (or all, probably) by googling the common names given in the video linked to.

For example, blob fish turns up Psychrolutes marcidus.

omg you should have put a warning on this post!!! thats gross!I didn't think it was that bad. And I don't see how they are gross, they are just different than what we are used to seeing.

And the third one is really fake? I wonder how they did that. Kinda looks like a toy.
