JD Size

At what size are JD when they start to breed ?

I think 4-5ish inches? Not too sure though.

I have an 8 inch female and a 3.5 inch male. I recently found 1 fry swimming around and fighting for it's life, everything is trying to eat it. It's pretty smart though and keeps to the safety of the driftwood it's about 3 week old know and measures 1/2 an inch long.

At about 4". We had a couple pair off at work in the little 15 gallon tanks on the cichlid system, with four other JDs in the tank. I was algae wiping one day and went to the the drain pipe and realized that wasn't algae, but eggs. Then I looked and saw the other four JDs huddled in the corner on the other side of the tank. Then I knew why they weren't doing so well, the other two were doing too well.
